Kolkata: It was a night to remember for the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday as they beat Mumbai Indians by 18 runs in a 16-over game to become the first team to qualify for the playoff. While KKR won the game, it was Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, who was making up for the absence of her father. The game got a little tense heading into the final over and with Tilak Verma in full swing.
Once Tilak perished, Suhana’s celebration was epic. She jumped in joy as she could not keep a lid over her emotions. She had Juhi Chawla and Ananya Pandey by her side. Here is that moment:

It was the spin duo of KKR that brought them back in the game with wickets in the middle-overs. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan got MI off to a brilliant start in the powerplay.
Earlier in the day after being put into bat, Venkatesh Iyer blazed to a 21-ball 42 while Nitish Rana scored 33 on his return to the side as Kolkata Knight Riders recovered from an early loss of wickets to post a challenging 157/7 off 16 overs.
Jasprit Bumrah sent back the dangerous Sunil Narine for a duck off his first ball of the match, a brilliant inswinging yorker that started wide, swerved late and disturbed the stumps.
Skipper Shreyas Iyer (7) was the next to go, bowled by Anshul Kamboj for 7 off 10 balls, walking too far across even before the ball was released.
Just when it looked like Mumbai were on top and will add to their misery, Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana, scripted a minor recovery, raising 37 runs for the fourth wicket partnership
