Virat Kohli BOWS While Taking Orange Cap From Dinesh Karthik, Heartwarming Video Goes VIRAL After RCB Beat GT in IPL 2024 Match | WATCH VIDEO

Bengaluru: Virat Kohli is not just a modern day great with the bat, he is also a charmer off-the-field and that was on display on Saturday at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium during an IPL 2024 game between the Royal Challengers and Gujarat Titans. Dinesh Karthik gave the Orange Cap to Virat Kohli, who became the leading run-getter again after his 27-ball 42. While taking the cap, Kohli bowed as a matter of respect. Karthik put the cap on Kohli’s head and the moment is now going viral.

Here is the viral clip that is now ruling the social space.

“The way Faf and Virat batted, I don’t think you could have played the some kind of shots if you were batting first. Also, the skill that both of them have, I enjoyed how they went about things,” Karthik said during the post-match presentation.

Meanwhile, RCB have won the game by four wickets to keep their hopes of playoffs alive. While it is still a mountain to climb, RCB seem to finally have got some momentum on their side.

Earlier, Yash Dayal, Vyshak Vijaykumar and Mohammed Siraj picked two wickets each in a superb bowling performance as Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowled out Gujarat Titans for a below-par 147.

On a two-paced surface, Dayal, Vyshak and Siraj got their lengths and rhythm spot-on to bundle out GT for the lowest total at the venue in IPL 2024. They were also supported by Cameron Green and Karn Sharma taking a wicket apiece.

Shahrukh Khan, David Miller and Rahul Tewatia chipped in with sizeable 30s, but none of them converted it into a big knock to make it the third time GT have been bowled out this season.
